Naqada, situated on the West Bank of the Nile, provides the namesake and the spiritual foundation of our weaving techniques.
Our master weavers operate from specialized atelier spaces that respect the light and humidity of the traditional Egyptian climate.
The seasonal ebb and flow of the river informs our dye palettes—shifting from deep indigos to sun-bleached creams.
The Evolution of Craft
We source only the finest Giza cotton and traditional linen, harvested by hand to preserve fibre integrity.
Natural pigments derived from madder root, indigo, and pomegranate skins create our signature depth of color.
Using the Kilim technique, our weavers manifest complex geometric patterns that take weeks to complete.
Each piece is hand-finished and inspected, ready to become a wearable piece of Egyptian history.
We source long-staple cotton and wild silk from specific regions where the soil imparts a unique lustre to the fibre.
Our dyes are strictly organic: roots, barks, and minerals are boiled in copper vats for weeks to achieve deep, light-fast colors.
Each piece is hand-washed in spring water and dried in the Saharan sun, which sets the color and softens the hand-feel.
